The recent Safety Alert issued by the Health & Safety team shows how serious a ‘simple’ slip, trip and fall injury can be.

A truckmixer driver recently slipped and fractured their ankle. The ankle required surgery resulting in nine pins being inserted and it is anticipated they will be off work for up to three months.  In addition to the pain and suffering from the incident, as a contractor they may also lose out financially in the run up to Christmas.
