Salt Awareness

Too much salt can harm our health, leading to unnecessary deaths from heart attacks and strokes. A diet high in salt can cause raised blood pressure, which can increase your risk of heart disease and stroke.

Adults should eat no more than 5g of salt a day and many items already contain salt.  You can find out more about the health risks and how to cut down your salt intake here: https://www.actiononsalt.org.uk/
