On 18 April 2017 organisations from across the UK infrastructure sector will take part in a national Stop. Make a change event with sites, offices and production facilities putting work on hold to focus on how we can work together to build a healthier, safer industry. The event is being organised by the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA).
This will be the first ever UK-wide health, safety and wellbeing stand-down with more than 40 UK infrastructure clients, contractors and supply chain companies involved. CEMEX UK is the only building materials supplier involved in this major campaign.
The campaign is going to focus on four key areas: Plant Safety, Mental Health, Respiratory Health and Fatigue. There will be more in next week’s UKNews.
