Tilbury has invested in installing two tipping frames over the apron belt feeders to ensure the safety of drivers and others should a vehicle tip over.

Tilbury Dock is exposed to the elements and suffers strong South Westerly winds at times.  These new tipping frames ensure the vehicles are fully inside the tipping area and protect them from going over in the wind and/or a ram was to break.

This was raised as a concern by different hauliers and as you can see they are a great success.
