UK Terror Threat Upgraded

With the recent attack in Liverpool now confirmed as a terrorist incident, the threat to the UK from terrorism has been upgraded to SEVERE, meaning an attack is highly likely. While changes in threat levels do not require specific responses from the public, the Security team asks all employees, especially those working at our sites, to remain vigilant and ensure security procedures are followed. In particular, pay attention to the security of any vehicles – we should always take care in this regard but now more than ever, it is of the utmost importance.

The UK Security team continue to advise there is NO specific threat to CEMEX or our wider industry.

More information on threat levels can be found at: https://www.mi5.gov.uk/threat-levels

If you have confidential information or a tip-off about possible terrorist activity, please call the Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789321. Please call 999 for concerns about possible bombs or other urgent threats.
