Update On Offices

The working group overseeing the return to offices is meeting weekly to ensure our office locations are ready when it is safe and appropriate for people to return. Audits have been completed of most of our UK offices to determine what new processes and equipment are needed to adapt the environment to meet Government guidelines.

The group met with the floor heads and team leaders for the Rugby office to talk them through the changes that will need to happen to the way people use the site – including a decluttering of all floors, which is beginning with the fourth floor today and will take several weeks.

At this stage, the aspects of our business that are being run remotely are performing well and meeting current demand levels. There is no urgent need for any of our teams to return to the offices and all of our action is being driven by Government guidelines – a return will not happen unless the Government says it is safe to do so. There is a lot more work still to be done before any of our office locations can be used so all employees must continue to work remotely unless advised otherwise by the RRT. It will be some time yet before any of the offices are ready for a return, and when they are, the new normal will be very different to the office environment we were all used to before lockdown.

If you have any questions, please speak to your Line Manager or contact a member of the RRT.
