Regrettably, during last week we sustained one employee LTI, the second incident this year, both related to slip, trips and falls.

A quarry electrician lost his footing and as he tried to support himself, suffered a fracture in the upper arm. The incident occurred at Raynes quarry in UK North when he was attending to an electrical terminal box mounted on a floating pontoon which had been pulled ashore to conduct the work safely.

An investigation is ongoing and learning points will be shared among our operations.
