Zero LTI week – well done

Congratulations, last week we had Zero LTI’s for employees and contractors, the third consecutive week without LTI’s in Europe.

Sergio Menendez, commented, “We continue to exert all efforts to eliminate risk behaviours and risk conditions from our operations, and will focus the last 11 weeks of the year on closing the remaining gaps identified in our NMHA cards, audits and inspections, and CAPEX list, in addition to raising awareness on the increased risk of slips, trips, and falls during the winter, our main cause of accidents.

Sadly, as previously reported we had a road traffic fatal incident in Poland, where a third party car driver lost his life when invading the lane and crashing directly into one of our trucks. A full investigation is ongoing.

Additionally, this week we are reporting a contractor TRI (Restricted Work Injury) in France.”
