Members of the Commercial Administration Department helped the charity, Zoe’s Place, on Friday 19th December. The Team helped in a fund raising event to ‘Bag Pack’ at the local Morrison’s Supermarket. The charity was short of volunteers for the event and Commercial Administration were more than happy to step in and ‘Lend-A-Hand’!
December is one of the busiest months of the year for Commercial Administration with the run up to the end of the financial year. The Management Team and staff successfully organised the day to ensure the right numbers of staff attended the event and there was sufficient cover to maintain the usual service to our customers. A specific thank you to Christine Westwood who liaised directly with the co-ordination team at Zoe’s Place.
Additionally a ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ (Friday 12th December) was organised where everyone made a donation for the privilege of wearing a festive theme jumper. The staff also gave money rather than sending Christmas cards to each other, all of which was donated to Zoe’s Place. A special thank you to Debbie Johnson for helping to organise the jumper and card collections.
It was a tremendous effort by everyone and for a great charity this could not have been achieved without the collaboration of Zoe’s Place and the individual teams within the Commercial Administration Department. Well done to all!!
