Today, Standard & Poor’s (S&P) upgraded Cemex’s credit rating to Investment Grade level, a very important financial milestone for our company.

This upgrade is a result of our strong financial and operating performance, deleveraging strategy, and flexible capital allocation. Also, S&P anticipates that Cemex will deliver steady results in the next two years, driven by positive momentum in construction activity in our key markets, among other factors.

While we had record results last year, this rating is a recognition of the successful execution of our medium-term strategy and consistent performance over several years, all of which we achieved through your hard work and dedication.
