This facility is the first power plant based on liquefied natural gas in Central America.

CEMEX announced that its subsidiary, CEMEX Latam Holdings, S.A. is participating in the construction of the first power plant based on liquefied natural gas in Panama and Central America. For this project, CEMEX expects to supply approximately 46,000 cubic meters of specialised concretes, including 26,000 cubic metres of cryogenic concrete and 12,000 cubic metres of low-heat hydration concrete. To date, CEMEX has supplied 83% of the required concrete.
