The team at Denge have been busy again over the last week, with the pontoon and barge assembled in just four days and a 500 tonne crane was on site to lift the Cat 345 excavator onto the pontoon. 

The impressive crane arrived on three artic loads of counter weight and lift frames and chains for the task at 7.30am.  It took three hours to set up with the wind slowly increasing as the day went on.  Luckily Mother Nature gave the team a break and the lift was completed safely.

Well done to everyone involved for a safe procedure and being one step closer to the new service for customers.
