Ian Phillips, Technical Manager, spent a really enjoyable day at Dove Holes quarry delivering some product and quality training to representatives from GB Railfreight – who transport our products by rail.

The session began by looking at the range of materials we produce, typical end uses and the important properties of various products. They then moved on to common causes of non-conformities and complaints (which focused on the issue of contamination) and then finished the session with a discussion on how GB Railfreight’s equipment, practices and behaviour can help us maintain product quality throughout the supply chain.
