Congratulations go out to Gilfach Quarry, Wickwar Quarry and Cromwell Quarry for winning the last two monthly JUSTCi Best Ideas competitions.

Gilfach Quarry – For re-configuring lagoon pipework to enable a syphon effect which meant the pump only needed to be switched on for 10 minutes after which the water would continue to flow using no electricity.

Wickwar Quarry – For installing an extended lip reduce excessive wear to the Crusher side and bottom liners and save regular downtime.

Cromwell Quarry – For improving safety by installing traffic lights to give full control of the loading area to the loading shovel driver.
