As part of CEMEX’s on-going strategy to strengthen our business in order to create more value for the company, we have decided to implement the following organisational changes
Executive Vice Presidency, Sustainability and Operations Development
In order to strengthen our global model and continue to replicate best practices worldwide, the areas of Health & Safety, Operations & Technology; Energy; Sourcing; Research & Development and Intellectual Property Management; and Sustainability, have been consolidated into the recently created Executive Vice Presidency, Sustainability and Operations Development.
Jesus Gonzalez, current President for CEMEX in the United Kingdom, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Sustainability and Operations Development, reporting directly to Fernando A. Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer of CEMEX.

One of our objectives is to develop our executives by exposing them to a variety of geographical and interdisciplinary experiences, increasing the diversity of their knowledge and capabilities, bringing new perspectives to the Business Unit and its Management Team.
CEMEX Europe
United Kingdom
Michel Andre, current President for CEMEX in France, has been appointed President for CEMEX in the United Kingdom, and will continue to report directly to Jaime Elizondo, President for CEMEX in Europe.
France
Marcelo Catala, current President for CEMEX in Poland, has been appointed President for CEMEX in France, and will continue to report to Jaime Elizondo.
Poland
Juan Carlos Herrera, current Strategic Planning Vice President for CEMEX in the United States, has been appointed President for CEMEX in Poland, reporting directly to Jaime Elizondo.
Spain
Jaime Ruiz de Haro, current President for CEMEX in Spain, will support CEMEX’s regional initiatives in Europe as an advisor to Jaime Elizondo.
Pedro Palomino, current President and Chief Executive Officer of CEMEX Holdings Philippines, Inc., has been appointed President for CEMEX in Spain, reporting directly to Jaime Elizondo.
Croatia
Velimir Vilovic, current Commercial and Logistics Director for CEMEX in Croatia, has been appointed Director for CEMEX in Croatia, reporting directly to Jaime Elizondo.
Czech Republic
Hermann Dietrich, current Planning and Administration Vice President for CEMEX in Germany and the Czech Republic, has been appointed Director for CEMEX in the Czech Republic, and will continue to report to Rüdiger Kuhn, President for CEMEX in Germany and Central Europe.
CEMEX United States
Trpimir Renic, current Director for CEMEX in Croatia, has been appointed Strategic Planning Vice President for CEMEX in the United States, reporting directly to Ignacio Madridejos, President for CEMEX in the United States, and on a coordinated basis to Juan Pablo San Agustin.
Executive Vice Presidency of Planning and Business Development
Maria Garcia, current Trading Director for Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa and Global White & Non Cementitious Materials, has been appointed Corporate Strategic Planning Director for CEMEX, reporting directly to Juan Pablo San Agustin.
