Craig Hooper and the team at Halkyn are testing a Volvo A60H Articulated Hauler following the loss of a substantial part of the stockyard at the top of the Quarry.

Stone will need to be transported to a lower level within the site on occasions at up to 400 tonnes per hour.  The Volvo A60H, with its rated payload of 55 tonnes, is being tested against this criteria as well as being able to transport as blasted material from the face to the primary crusher.
