This week it has been great to see Product Development efforts coming to fruition and meeting the needs of our customers.

National Technical Manager, Mike Higgins and the UK R&D team has met with external partners and local authorities to progress several years of R&D work of creating a bespoke Porofoam product for their specific needs on a technically challenging and innovative project.

Porofoam VLR has been developed as what the customers project team and consortium describe as “an integral innovation to deliver the project”.

There is potential for the system to be copy and pasted to projects and having Porofoam VLR specified as part of the system is a great example of CEMEX providing industry-leading products and solutions to satisfy the construction needs of our customers.
