Richard Kershaw, National Technical Manager, takes to the ‘floor’ to show well-known TV presenter, Dan Cruickshank, how to make concrete.  Gone are the latest computerised systems and batching plant, and in comes a domestic mixer with all the ‘ingredients’ to hand, filmed  at our Battersea plant.

Dan Cruickshank is presenting a 3-part series on domestic architecture, hopefully to be shown on the BBC next spring and Richard explained about the history of concrete, the raw materials involved how concrete is made and why we are now able to build taller buildings faster than ever before.

Richard is now looking forward to the ‘red carpet event’ for his starring role!   Thanks to colleagues at Battersea in keeping the film crew and colleagues safe and helping with all the materials required.
