Cemex’s Concrete Products business at our Dove Holes plant is proud to be a sponsor for their local Whaley Bridge Athletic Under-13s football team.

Sponsorship provides them with brand-new kits and training jackets for the season. As a company that values community and youth development, we are delighted to support young athletes as they continue to grow both on and off the pitch.

To celebrate the partnership, Paul Kania-Miller, Operations Manager (seen in the photo), attended a recent match to see the team in action. The game was an exciting display of skill and teamwork, with Whaley Bridge Athletic securing a 7-1 victory. The players proudly wore their new kits, showing both confidence and determination throughout the match.

Following the impressive win the team presented Paul with a framed picture as a token of appreciation, which will be displayed in the Cemex office as a reminder of our commitment to supporting local sports.

Paul commented on the day: “It was fantastic to watch the team play and see their passion for the game. Supporting young talent in the community is something we at Cemex are really proud of, and we look forward to seeing Whaley Bridge Athletic go from strength to strength in the future.”
