Congratulations to Charlie Wilcox who recently received a glowing email from a member of the public who called our Help Desk for advice.  Here’s a summary of what was sent:

“I just wanted to send an email to you with regards to the excellent customer service I received from CEMEX, particularly from your CEMEX and from an individual, Charlie Wilcox.

I am not a tradesman and had an urgent query concerning concreting best practice for an issue with some recent work done by my “builder” (concrete base for a garage).   Suffice to say that the base isn’t level and my builder had suggested a way forward which I was not happy about/uncertain of.  I decided to take a chance and ring the experts, CEMEX, and see if anyone was willing to provide me with some free advice. The CEMEX Service Desk was very helpful. Charlie Wilcox answered the call went out of his way in listening to my predicament and recommending best practice.  but also, pointed me in the direction of another person(s) in CETA.

It would have been easy for the Central CEMEX Desk and Charlie to dismiss my call and certainly not listen to my situation and providing me with expert advice!

I just wanted to feedback to you that the help and advice given was unexpected and I think just demonstrates that good staff, their willingness to listen and help are a real asset to any organisation!

Individuals really can make business difference and Charlie and Co. are a credit to CEMEX.”
