CJE Visit Shows Some Customers Are Already Digital

Last week David Hart visited one of our bulk cement customers – Litecast Nuneaton – with Richard Cowley as part of our Q2 CJE program.  Here is what David found out:

“I met with Andy Hall, Operations Director, and he gave me an overview of the business both in terms of its history and future plans. Litecast buy ~ 8kt per annum of cement and manufacture floor beams for supply into a number of segments notably house builders.

The business already has many of its operational, financial and customer information on a digital platform that is visible with real time performance data. They are currently developing an on line portal for their customers to access to place orders, request quotes and track deliveries, so they are an obvious customer to work with when we pilot our DCM solutions.

We also discussed the “touch points” of the CEMEX Litecast relationship and it made me feel very proud when Andy said the service and technical support he receives from CEMEX is first class and the drivers are extremely professional and helpful.  He valued examples of early notification (Call Bob) to his team if a delivery is running late and mentioned the Customer Service team in CEMEX House.

He even rang the on-site Production Manager during the meeting to verify everything that he was saying about the superior customer service that CEMEX provide!!!. Litecast have plans to relocate and grow the business and the service we are currently providing puts us in a great position to leverage this opportunity.
