The recent heavy rain resulted in the main West Coast rail line being closed from Glasgow to Carlisle. Amalgamated Construction were appointed by Network Rail to repair the Lamington Viaduct to ensure the resumption of train services. Team Scotland were contacted to supply an initial 60m3 of Underwater concrete. The scale of the works has dramatically increased with a further 900m3 being required!
