On Tuesday afternoon the Perth Readymix Team started a new job for Cementation Piling at the new A9/A85 upgrade.  This is a prestigious project in the heart of the city with residential, schools and retail being built over the next few years.

Thomas Hunter, Sales Rep, takes up the story: “After initial problems from the contractor they started taking concrete after 5pm.  The piles are over 45m in depth and take 38m3 at a time, so it is quite a challenging job.  We successfully completed the first pile at 10.30pm.

I would like to take the time to thank the following people who were on site until the finish: Plant staff, Graeme Whyte and Gordon Campbell; Technical Support from Damian McGhee and Mike Simpson; and a thank you to the two IHCs, Bob Tosh and John Forsyth.
