Doune Lend-A-Hand

Well done to the Scottish Aggs team who lent a hand at the Doune Community Walk.  They spent the day laying 60 tonnes of Type 1 material on the community walk pathway.

A lot of the locals use the pathway to walk their dogs, etc on a daily basis. The villagers they met were very grateful to the team for what they were doing for the community.

Thanks to Alistair Graham and the team who took part.  They received a great thank you email from Tony Farrant, the Chairman of the Doune Community Woodland Group:

On behalf of the landowner, Moray Estates, and Doune Community Woodland Group who are responsible for managing Doune Ponds, as volunteers we really appreciate the help we get on the lend-a-hand days and overall support from CEMEX. Everyone gets stuck in and gets on with the task in hand working side by side with our team. Without the help some of the projects would not easily be achieved.

This project, which we plan will finish this Saturday, will make a significant difference to the whole community and the walkers who visit from afar.”
