Congratulations go to the team in the Norfolk and Cambridgeshire Area of Readymix Central Region, who have now reached 12 years LTI free. This is the longest record of any of the Readymix Areas and one the team should be very proud of.

With such a long record it is important to ensure complacency doesn’t increase the risk of injury, however, the team are now firmly focused on reaching 3 years TRI free in February 2018.

Matt Yaxley, Area 12 Manager, commented: “Health and Safety is our Number 1 Priority and this excellent achievement is a result of the efforts of everyone in the Area (Employees, IHCs, Contractors and Visitors) focusing on safety whilst ensuring you Look After Yourself and Each Other which I thank you for. Continuous examples of Stepping In along with focus on the quality of Inductions and the Safety of our visitors have helped getting us to 12 years LTI Free.

I would like to thank each and every one of you again including the IHC Community for making Safety a Personal Value and achieving this performance.”

Also, congratulations go to Logistics Aggregates and Asphalt Northern who have reached 3 years LTI free which is a significant achievement given the risks in driving operations and the complexities faced by drivers on various sites. The team is focused on continuing this record and reaching the next milestone in their ZERO harm journey.
