Calling all cyclists…. this weekend is the time to get on your bike and enjoy the great sites of London, without all the traffic. For the sixth year running the Prudential RideLondon is taking place on 28th & 29th July in our capital. It’s free to join in and is perfect for all the family. The 8-mile circuit includes St Pauls Cathedral and Buckingham Palace, and starts at 9am and there’ll be no cars, vans, buses or trucks.
Part of the cycling weekend is the Prudential RideLondon – Surrey covering 46 miles around the Surrey countryside aimed at the more energetic cyclists.
As in previous years CEMEX is supporting the event with London Metropolitan Police by providing one of our new Pedestrian Safety trucks. Police officers will be talking to cyclists about safe cycling and persuading them to get into the cab of the truck to see the road from our drivers’ perspective.
