Rugby Plant employees and contractors celebrated winning the prestigious CEMEX Health and Safety Sword a few weeks ago with a hog roast.

The team was joined by Jesus Gonzalez, Andy Taylor and Kevin Stephens from the MPA. The Safety Sword has been up for grabs for over 50 years and the Rugby team were delighted to find out that they had finally won it after trying so hard for so many years.

Everyone enjoyed the hog roast and were left with a message from Jesus ringing in their ears: “That the best award is ensuring that everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.”
