The avoid slips, trips and falls campaign, beginning 17th July. Did you know that over a third of our most serious injuries in the last 12 months have been as a result of a slip, trip or a fall?
All of these incidents could have been prevented.
So what’s coming up?
- A children’s poster competition….winners receive a £100 Halfords voucher in each age category, some entries will then be turned into posters to put up at our sites and offices…
- Stop and think talks…with you and your colleagues to focus on your workplace and habits
- Awareness posters and stickers for your workplace to help raise awareness
- New get a grip stickers to put around your workplace
We want you all to get to grips with slips, trips and falls…
Why not order the new stickers from GSB Signs (see picture above for details) or print the competition poster (at the end of this document or in the download section on UK News website) and encourage younger relatives to put on paper what avoiding Slips, Trips and Falls looks like to them – they could win £100 Halfords voucher to buy a new bike!
