Firstly, I just want to thank you all for the support you have given J.N. Bentley so far over these difficult times – it really has been much appreciated and this gratitude is also shared by our clients in the critical sectors which we support. 

With respect to the current status of our sites, the steer from the regulators and clients which we work with has been made very clear to us over the past few days – the work we carry out in both our Utilities sector for Water and Gas and our flood defence work for the Environment Agency is essential and key to safeguarding critical national infrastructure, therefore we must continue. 

Understandably, the Procurement Team are experiencing a lot of questions for each order they are raising at present with regards to whether what they are ordering is essential, to help reduce this please can you going forward treat every request as essential because I can assure you that any works that don’t fall into this category have already been stopped.
